Get Ready for Good Spirits

Yes, it’s November, but February will be here faster than you can say, “Give me a hot toddy,” and that means one thing: Good Spirits, our annual cocktail pairing event, is coming soon.  On Thursday, February 21st we’ll be getting our drink (and eat) on at 82Mercer, the same incredible space in SoHo where the event took place last year.   Stay tuned for more details on which restaurants will be teaming up with what spirit brands.  Until then, here’s a sneak peak of what you can look forward to tasting:

Drinks from White Pike Whiskey/Finger Lakes Distilling, Hudson Whiskey, Compass Box Whisky, Black Dirt Distillery, NY Distilling Company, El Buho Mezcal, Caledonia Spirits, Cacao Prieto, Sorel Liqueur, Eden Ice Cider, and Rhum Clément.  Food from Monument Lane, Luzzo’s, The Wallace, Highlands, Prospect, Veselka Bowery, L & W Oyster Co., and Anfora.

$40 Early bird tickets are still available, but going fast.  Get yours here while they last!

And speaking of spirits, if you’re looking forward to getting in the holiday spirit, be sure to join us on Monday, December 3rd at the Brooklyn Brewery for How To Holiday.  A panel of experts will be on hand to teach you the tricks of the trade for preparing a holiday feast.  Kimchi Taco truck will also be parked on site with food for purchase.  Tickets are just $5 (available here) and proceeds will be donated to the Brooklyn Community Foundation’s Brooklyn Recovery Fund in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.
